Apollo Command Module Boilerplate 15 is being mated with the Saturn booster at Complex 37 at the Cape.

This will be the second test flight of this configuration. The spacecraft BP-15 includes a Command Module, Service Module, Adapter Section and Launch Escape System. This will be the first Apollo spacecraft to have an Reactional Control System with a programmable computer onboard.

SA-7 Fully Erected On Pad B

A wonderful birds-eye view of Pad B of Launch Complex 37 with the mighty Saturn-7 (A-102) standing fully erected. The SA-7 was successfully launched on 18 September 1964 and was noted as a fully successful mission and the spacecraft  achieved its 59 Earth orbits. 

This will be the second test flight of this configuration. The spacecraft BP-15 includes a Command Module, Service Module, Adapter Section and Launch Escape System. This will be the first Apollo spacecraft to have an Reactional Control System with a programmable computer onboard.

The flight met all its objectives. The spacecraft continued to transmit telemetry for five orbits and was tracked right up until re-entry on its 59th orbit over the Indian Ocean after 3 days and 15 hours of flight.
