£5.95 Bean Undergoes Negative Pressure Test 10 x 8 Black & White NASA Photograph Astronaut Alan Bean, Commander of the second manned Skylab mission, lies in the lower body negative pressure device during a post flight experiment onboard the recovery ship. This experiment is to provide information concerning the course of cardiovascular adaptation after flight and to provide post-flight data for predicting the degress of orthostatic intolerance and impairment of physical capacity after returning to Earth's environment. Technicians wear face to prevent passing on any illness to the Skylab crewman. This vintage NASA photograph is in very good condition. |
